I just got back into latch hooking and this was my second one. I completed it in 16 days, working on it at night while I watch TV.
I am very happy with it. I wasn't sure how much I would like it because it is very purple but it turned out great. The colors are not quite as vivid as the description pic but not quite as muted as my pic.
You get everything you need: cut yarn, canvas with a zippered back (in the middle), picture instructions and a wood hook.
I bought some hooks with different tips but I ended up using the one that came with this kit because I liked it the best. It worked really well and I will use it for others.
I am now addicted to latching!!!!

Brilliant a great way to relax

This is the first ever kit I've done and compared to others Ive bought afterwards this is really good quality. The pattern matches the instructions, the wooden hook is better than the usual plastic ones and it looks lovely when finished! Definitely better quality than any others so far! Wish they were all like this!

I had so much fun with this. I haven't done one since I was a kid. I made it for a gift. The colors are nice and bright and they print it out page made it easy to follow. I already ordered the sea turtle for my next one!

I ordered this for my nieces birthday, not able to provide a review as her birthday hasn't occured as yet. But I can say the gift arrived on time, and a nice shade of colour.

Update: I was not missing the color, this was my mistake and their customer service was great!

I thought this was great until I realized one of the yarn colors is missing after I worked on it for a couple hours! Other than that I liked it but can’t finish without that color.

Fun to do while you’re watching TV in the evening when it’s done, you have a beautiful pillow I like the fact that it already had the back to the pillow and a zipper to fill it

I liked the easy to follow instructions. The colours are very vibrant & the cushion is of good quality. With everything included to make the cushion it was good value for money.

These were a fun activity to do with my daughter during winter break. The pillows turned out nicely. My daughter is 12 and really liked doing it. We got a color and pattern that matches her bedroom.

I haven't done latch hook since I was a child, so this definitely grabbed my attention. The design is gorgeous, especially since it's purple. It contains all the tools you need to complete the project. It's fun getting back into various crafts.

I have just gotten into trying latch hook, and this is only the 2nd one I have gotten. This kit seems okay. I think the first one I got was a little better with regards to instructions and just how it was packaged, but there is nothing about this one that would make me flat out not get another of the brand. This will be the first pillowcase one I have tried, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. The colors are bright on it. It would be a good gift item for a beginner.

Purchased this for my 11year old to take on vacation. So happy that it came in a sturdy case that will make it easy to keep her project organized while we travel.

Perfect for my granddaughter.

My mom does lots of latch hook kits. They're her physical therapy to keep her hands from turning into claws. I got this kit for her and she likes it aside from the pink color inside the butterfly wings. She's going to swap in orange from her yarn stash to make it look like a monarch butterfly.

The kit was exactly what we were expecting. The yarn is uniform and well cut and the edges of the pillow are neat and don't feel like they'll come apart. The latch hook is the standard thin-style plastic handled hook. We currently have no complaints, I will update if we do,

I am very much enjoying with kit but I will say that the instructions aren't the best and the "guide" is... well, it's pretty bad. There are more boxes on the guide than there are cells in the actual pillow. I also find the coloring on the actual plastic a little frustrating since there are some colors that look like it just sort of got on there by mistake.

Anyway, I'm still loving this kit and find it to be very enjoyable.

This is a good kit. I didn't realize when I got it that it was a pillow kit and actually comes with a suede back with zipper. It doesn't come with the pillow so that you will have to buy separate. Very fun and I'm glad I got it.

I love this latch hook, but the instructions for it are a bit weird, and the pattern is way off on the actual fabric. You will have to forgo the pattern all together on the fabric and go with the paper pattern instead. It shows a 70x70 grid on paper, but the fabric is a 68x68 so you will loose 2 lines of the grid on 2 sides. Not really a big deal for me, but for others this might be confusing. Best to pick the best side to start, count out your squares on the fabric and subtract the number of missing squares on the opposite side of the paper pattern. I used a sharpie to black out the non needed squares of the grid.
